Giles Davies have worked with Specsavers for over a decade and been part of their supply chain as a Tier One contractor. Giles Davies work to deliver Concession's within Sainsburys stores, Rebrands to live store environments and New Tier One Stores.

Giles Davies, as a main contractor, managed the entire Specsavers project at Spytty Tesco Extra with a dedicated project management and coordination team to ensure seamless execution. 

At Specsavers Spytty, Giles Davies executed a comprehensive fit-out of a large white box concession within the Tesco Extra store. Over six weeks, the team completed the fit-out, including the novation of the sprinkler works from the client. Key aspects of the construction included: 

Wall and Ceiling Construction: Implemented robust NHS audiology standards, achieving a 42db rating in combination with the ceiling, wall, door, and joinery specifications.

Electrical, Data, and Lighting Installation: Comprehensive electrical, data, and lighting systems were installed.

Plumbing and Sprinkler Systems: Managed all plumbing needs and oversaw the sprinkler works. 

Finishing Trades: Completed all finishing trades such as flooring, decoration, and unitary installation.

The project was completed on time, including all variations that allowed the store to open and commence trading as scheduled. This project marked a significant milestone for Giles Davies as their first concession within a Tesco store. Our experience as a Tier 1 contractor was pivotal in delivering the new store fit-out to a high standard.
